Today we are a leader in the youth development field and serve more than 5,000 youth every year through four key programs.

We do that by facilitating hands-on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, structured play and more, all in a safely organized before and after school program setting.

Before and After School Program positions available in elementary schools in Anchorage and Eagle River. Programs run from 7-9am (7-10 am on Monday) and again from 3:15-6:15pm, Monday through Friday. Program operates throughout the entire school year, beginning August 7, 2023 with training and ending with closeout on May 22, 2024.

Assistant Site Director: Work between 25 to 30 hours per week (average) at $18.00 to $20.53 per hour supporting the Site Director in planning, management, and supervision of an assigned site and support the program quality with age-appropriate activities, coaching, and supervision of site staff.

• • Qualifications:
    • Minimum age is 21 OR professional experience directly related to licensed or accredited school age/camp programs to substitute
    • Prior leadership experience 
    • Prior supervisory experience preferred
    • Ability to transport all program materials and supplies to site required; ability to visit all sites as needed; valid driver’s license and access to personal car preferred

REQUIREMENTS: (can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule): Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid; Food Worker Card; Mandated Reporter training certificate; Health & Safety certificate.

• Currently hold or have the willingness to acquire a minimum of twelve college credits (with at least 3 credit hours specific to early childhood education) in education, youth development or related field.
