Summary

Wranglers add to the memorable experiences of our members and their guests. Our wranglers lead trail rides, provide riding lessons to all ages, and assist with Club’s summer kids’ camp activities. This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of horses, mules/donkeys, associated tack, equipment, and facilities.

Must be at least 18 years of age & comfortable riding and handling various breeds of horses and similar livestock (e.g., AQHA, Rocky Mountain Gaited Horses, Draft Horses, Donkeys/Mammoth Donkeys, and similar).

The Stock Farm Club Equestrian Center provides internship opportunities for those seeking a degree in either Horsemanship, Equine Science, or other related fields. We will provide you with a broad knowledge base and experience for managing an equestrian center in the Private Club Industry. This includes, but is not limited to personal horsemanship, a plethora of opportunities to hone and improve your own instruction abilities and lesson planning, operational considerations around herd management, office and employee management, and cross departmental relations.

Our internship will support your educational needs and can be tailored to specific academic program requirements.

This position may be eligible for employee housing, subject to availability.
