Job Summary: Supports Palisades Tahoe Teams to achieve high level programming, communication and community engagement. Manage, develop, and maintain administrative processes and staff for the Teams departments while ensuring best in class guest and employee service (teams families and personnel). Duties include, communication, product development, oversight of administration staff, database and systems management (including financial reporting and HRIS), digital tools, and assisting managers and administrative team with payroll, time & attendance, rostering, and other administrative processes. Oversee communication methods including social media, web and Team communication platform(s). Develop and maintain quality hiring and recruitment opportunities. Work closely with department managers. This position is the communication and community hub for Team Palisades Tahoe. Other duties as assigned by manager/director.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Provide guests with quality service in a friendly, responsive, and positive manner.
  • Oversee Teams Administrators, including hiring, training, performance, and review process, while ensuring employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and/or internal information
  • Facilitation of Company and Teams Policy communication to Teams stakeholders
  • Facilitation of Teams activities, events, partnerships and programming, products, etc. to Teams stakeholders
  • Manage product development, registration/enrollment process, and transaction processes and fulfillment for all products.
  • Correspond and communicate with Team parents and participants, Teams and Palisades Tahoe personnel.
  • Coordinate and execute administrative assistance for Snowsports Training Manager and Department Training
  • Manage tracking Performance Management processes for Teams
  • Manage athlete travel billing and collection.
  • Use of company systems, applications, and databases with ability to export reports and manage reporting for Director and Managers.
  • Lead Teams employee on-boarding and off-boarding process with assistance of Teams Managers, Teams Administrators, and Human Resources. Manage/lead processing of all employee types including international (H2B, etc.) and domestic.
  • Support head coaches and managers with payroll and other HR matters.
  • Track and maintain inventory of department supplies, process purchase orders and maintain budget records.
  • Provide Team director and appropriate managers with operational and financial reports.
  • Communicate effectively via radio and telephone with supervisors, mountain operations, mountain dispatch and other resort departments. Support communication between coaches and Admin staff during training days – stepping in as necessary to manage parent/dispatch/coach communication during serious injuries or other issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date safety and incident documents.
  • Manage Athlete Uniform product development, including selection, sales, and distribution.
  • Manage Teams website
  • Manage Social media access, sharing and processes
  • Manage Teams Communication Platform, including timely real time accuracy, training and use process
  • Remain current with Human Resource, Payroll and Health & Safety best practices

Required:

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two to five years administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:

  • College Degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Competitive Sport/skiing background
  • Knowledge or experience with ski and/or snowboard athletic progression
  • Experience with Alterra sales and financial management systems

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 75bs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee may encounter extreme winter cold and blizzard conditions.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base salary range: $64,480.00 - $98,409.64 per year
