We are a well established and leader in the field of Catholic Pilgrimages.  We will be seeking an individual that has the ability to collaboration, understand and partner with Staff, Clients and Ground Operators.

Job description


  • Have deep understanding of what the Pilgrimage Journey is and be able to comprehend the values of 206 Tours β€œPilgrims", in an ever changing environment. 
  • Understand the drivers of our client base, why the are Pilgrims with 206 Tours
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of 206 Tours professionals.
  • Effectively have the ability to manage a business and be proficient in several key business areas. 
  • Gain insight into 206 Tours offerings and customers expectations
  • Oversee execution of product marketing that align with overall objectives.
  • Develop delivery of digital product across website, blog posts, social media, video, etc.
  • Review destinations and tour departures:  dates, inclusions, itineraries and pricing
  • Ensure quality control, timely, accurate and effective delivery of information
  • Review sales trends that revolve around relevant events, which would have affect on the ultimate demand
  • Review and update content to deploy plans that resonate across 206 Tours audiences
  • Identifying where opportunity exists to increase better offerings and utilization
  • Maintain and review quality control of existing programs
  • Communicate operational and sales changes
  • Resolve day to day operational issues
  • Ability to be flexible and work through multiple tasks concurrently, quickly and accurately
  • Ability to oversee, coordinate and develop partnerships with multiple departments
  • Manage communications with in office staff, suppliers and partners across varying topics \
  • Have and oversee of others management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of CRS (Computer Reservation System) 
  • To hire, promote, or terminate employees
  • Manage and project budgets, for departments, including authorizing expenditures.
  • Manage and communicate day-to-day operating needs of 206 Tours Products
  • Communicate with account managers and group leaders, about group materializations and developments
  • Communicates necessary information and changes, as needed, to staff, clients and suppliers
  • Arrange training sessions
  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day operating needs, including but not limited to,

execution of all operational elements: air, ticketing, hotels, restaurants, transfers, rooming and tour pricing

  • Space Control: Review inventory of allotments, increase or decrease according to what is best for 206 Tours and it's customer
  • Ensure to receive accurate and timely written communications from 206 Tours partners and suppliers
  • Engage, monitor and ensure that 206 Tours group leaders goals are met and satisfied
  • Support account managers in responding timely to customer letters/feedback
  • Review digital content, work with developers, web and digital content manager to implement revisions if and where needed
  • Presence on Social Media 
  • Share and explain news, product changes, supplier contract changes as needed
  • Manage 206 Tours day-to-day operation and sales needs, including but not limited to, tour / pilgrimage logistics, tour / pilgrimage information as presented with focus on: inclusions, structures, process to sell, pricing and space control.
  • Maintain effective systems for review of tour operations that include: departures, itineraries, pricing -which are transparent within all branches of operations and sales.
  • Make financial adjustments, review financials with accounting, yield in procurement, as needed
  • Ensure that accurate communications is sent to client (invoice, confirmation, and revisions) and supplier (rooming lists, airline name lists, ticketing, reconfirmation, updates and revisions)
  • Answer and participate on emergencies, as needed, which may fall outside of normal working hours.
  • Partake in evening or weekend duty (management rotation for urgent response issues)
  • Arrange and lead meetings with suppliers
  • Arrange for staff trainings and reviews
  • Invite and initiate ideas and product development

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Literacy of financial reporting, budgeting, IT and facilities management/security
  • Leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to inspire, motivate, delegate and empower team
  • Proven technical / computer systems aptitude
  • Global travel experience, and knowledge of international markets
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills to communicate the 206 Tours brand.
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to manage staff, to communicate with leaders, clients and suppliers across varying topics
  • 5 - 10 years professional experience;  3 years of proven related experience
  • Ability to simplify complex information
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work through multiple tasks on need basis concurrently
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new - tense situations and maintain a positive attitude
  • Proficient in Office 365, Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint, 
  • Understanding Technology IT systems: hardware, software and networks
  • Ability to travel occasionally domestic and international travel maybe required 

 

The compensation for this position annually is $250,000.
