Job Summary: Responsible for maintenance, repairs, and sanitation of buildings & facilities at Palisades, Alpine, or the Village at Palisades Tahoe.

Job Details

  • Multiple locations available: Alpine, Palisades, and Lodging
  • Seasonal full time

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned:

  • Performs general and preventive maintenance around base area and all facilities and working with others on the building maintenance team, as well as with other departments.
  • Basic maintenance skills required such as changing light bulbs, batteries, tightening loose fixtures, etc..
  • Works indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Heavy labor which includes snow removal, and furniture moving.
  • Performs snow removal using snow blower, shovels, and ice chipper.
  • Keeps grounds clear of litter and empties trash cans around the base area.
  • Responsible for general cleaning of fixtures and areas throughout facilities as needed, including the cleaning of restrooms.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors throughout facilities. Stocking paper goods.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the lawns by monitoring sprinklers and making repairs when necessary, including maintaining of flower beds. Mows, weeds, and fertilizes as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the building maintenance supervisory team.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects
  • Assist in HVAC unit repair and maintenance projects
  • Guest room preventative maintenance (caulking, tile repair, painting, plumbing, carpeting, etc.)
  • Perform, administer and document preventative maintenance

Required:

  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards
  • Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time Work well as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

Preferred:

High School Diploma or GED Previous housekeeping/maintenance experience Electrical and/or plumbing skills

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $18.68 - $29.38 per hour

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and smell. Must be capable of walking or standing 100% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate. This employee will frequently be exposed to fumes, odors, dusts, ventilation

Equipment Used in Job: Chemical cleaning agents, household cleaning products and equipment. Construction tools- hammers, saws, hand tools, etc. including snowblowers, shovels, lawnmowers
