Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development and Planning Analyst, Walmart & Mass Retailers, to join our Outdoor Performance Global Commercial team which consists of Bushnell, Blackhawk, Camp Chef, Primos, Simms Fishing, Stone Glacier, and other outdoor accessory brands. The Outdoor Performance strategic priorities are to be consumer-first focused, lead with power brands, and invest inwards. We will build the Outdoor Performance business by creating focus and power with the consumer. Our Global Commercial team will drive growth with winning customers and channels while finding efficiency in a consolidated commercial management structure.

The Sales Development and Planning Analyst is essential to the development and implementation of forecast strategies and solutions focused on driving efficient supply chain practices supporting our mass distributors which consists of Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Lowes, and The Home Depot businesses as well as other Key Retail Partners. This position will work closely with sales teams to provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales processes and drive revenue.

This position reports to the Senior Sales Development and Planning Analyst and is based out of our Bentonville, AR office.

As the Sales Development and Planning Analyst, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities, analyze sales performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Compile data from multiple sources, including internal revenue, customer POS, network inventory to provide regular state of the business dashboards.

  • Analyze data to produce business information used to support strategy development and decision making.

  • Support sales organization with reporting and analytics for long-range forecasting.

  • Evaluate customer POS, stock levels, and purchasing trends to identify areas of incremental sales opportunities.

  • Develop and implement efficient and easy methods for the sales team to regularly track their customer and territory performance against determined KPIs.

  • Work with operations team to coordinate product shipments from multiple US facilities.

  • Prepare weekly reporting, forecast adjustments and various ad-hoc requests.

  • Identify and lead corrective actions related to modular inventory imbalances.

  • Create store specific orders in support of modular and/or feature events.

  • Work with Sales managers to provide POS analytics for Key Retail Partners

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing or work equivalency

  • 3+ years of Planning and/or Sales Analysis Experience

  • Strong analytical, forecasting and replenishment management skills.

  • Must have experience using Retail Link or Illuminate for Walmart. Additionally, Home Depot Supplier Hub, and/or Lowe’s Vendorgateway experience would be helpful.

  • Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external partners.

  • Strong problem solver with a high sense of urgency to provide solutions and recommendations to the customer and key external partners.

  • Attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Pay Range:

$49,800.00 - $74,800.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
