Water Country-Admissions Team Lead

We are currently looking for a:

Roles & Responsibilities:

An Admissions Team Lead oversees a small team of frontline team members in the execution of Admission department tasks which includes parking, admissions, lockers, and cabanas; with a main focus on one area per day. Admissions Leads are responsible for ensuring that frontline team members are meeting daily operational standards. An Admissions Lead will assist other areas of the Admissions Department as needed. This is a great step towards becoming an Admissions Supervisor.

• Oversees the daily operation and coordinates efforts of a small team
• Provides Team Members with necessary information and tools to effectively perform their duties
• Promotes a safe and clean work environment for both team members and guests
• Execute daily operational priorities and deliver expected outcomes
• Provide exceptional guest service
• Create resolutions to situations that arise in a positive manner
• Work closely with all departments on a daily basis
• Follows and enforces all park and departmental policies
• Any other duties as assigned for designated section

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a minimum of one year of experience within the hospitality industry
• Waterpark or Amusement Park experience preferred but not required
• Advanced computer skills are required. (Word, Excel, Outlook(email), Power Point)
• Strong problem solving skills and excellent verbal communication skills
• Requires excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to execute multiple tasks
• Requires the ability to make objective decisions quickly under stressful conditions.
• Requires positive interaction with other Team Members and Guests.
• This position requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to frequently lift, carry or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying climates including exposure to direct sunlight
