We are currently looking for a:

Water Country-Aquatics Senior Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities:

    The Aquatics Senior Supervisor position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, is detail oriented and is passionate about helping others. A Senior Supervisor should be someone who is committed to Water Country’s safety and cleanliness and can effectively communicate with other departments to aid in achieving those common goals. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of experience in an Aquatics leadership role

    • Direct report for 100-150 Lifeguards, Attendants, and Aquatics Leadership Team Members
    • Responsible for opening and closing procedures for the Aquatics department
    • Responsible for monitoring the enforcement of all park policies, rules and regulations
    • Resolve guest and team member complaints and issues
    • Responsible for administrative duties such as daily audits, VAT logs, scheduling, rescue reports, accident reports, time cards, labor laws, updates of operational logs, reports, and statistical record keeping as well as up keeping all required Ellis and Associates documents
    • Maintain all aquatics equipment and properly inventory all supplies
    • Understand and implement the emergency procedures to be followed in case of an incident
    • Oversee and adhere to all state and federal employment practices and laws at all times
    • Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the Aquatics department
    • Inspire and motivate team members to work together and achieve success beyond expectations
    • Maintain site safety, remedy any safety concerns and assure appropriate documentation
    • Oversee and facilitate general park cleanliness at all times
    • Assist in other departments as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must hold or be willing and able to obtain Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor license
    • Ability to communicate and effectively coach others
    • Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Minimum of two years/seasons of Lifeguard Leadership experience preferred
