The Lifeguard Supervisor position is the perfect job for someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about helping others and guiding a team to success. Becoming a Lifeguard Supervisor is the perfect opportunity to enhance administrative and service skills. The perfect Lifeguard Supervisor will have at least 2 years of lifeguarding experience and proven leadership experience.

• Oversee a team of 6-12 Head Lifeguards and Lifeguard Trainers and ensure adherence to all federal and NH labor laws
• Maintain site safety, remedy and document any safety concerns
• Responsible for enforcing all park policies, rules and regulations
• Handle all guest issues with exceptional customer service
• Responsible for administrative duties such as daily audits, VAT logs, rescue reports, accident reports, time cards, labor laws, updates of operational logs, reports, and statistical record keeping
• Maintain all aquatics and attraction related equipment and properly inventory all supplies
• Understand the emergency procedures to be followed in case of an incident
• Inspect attractions and report unsafe conditions and equipment to Director of Operations
• Assist in facilitating park cleanliness at all times
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrates ability to swim at least 200 yards and complete the Ellis & Associates lifeguard training
• Ability to communicate and effectively work with others
• Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum of two years/seasons of lifeguarding experience preferred
