We are currently looking for a:

Water Country - Lifeguard Trainer

Roles & Responsibilities:

    Do you love working outside and engaging with people? Are you organized, a team player, and excited to teach others new skills? If you answered yes to these questions, you might just be the perfect addition to our Leadership Team as a Lifeguard Trainer!

    The Lifeguard Trainer position is the perfect job for someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about helping others and guiding a team to success. Becoming a Lifeguard Trainer is the perfect opportunity to enhance communication and service skills. The perfect applicant should be outgoing, motivated, and have at least a year of lifeguarding experience.

    • Oversee the initial and ongoing attraction training of 100-150 lifeguards
    • Ensure the safe operating conditions of all lifeguard and attendant positions
    • Foster and exemplify a safety first mentality
    • Assist with regular maintenance of basic attraction related equipment
    • Assist in facilitating park cleanliness at all times
    • Assist in other departments as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be at least 18 years old OR 16+ with proven leadership/lifeguard experience
    • Demonstrates ability to swim at least 200 yards and complete the Ellis & Associates lifeguard training
    • Must exhibit excellent verbal and communication skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to fit the needs of the Operations Team
    • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
    • Recognizes and promptly responds to safety concerns
