Water Country - Park Services Lead

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Park Services Lead position is a perfect job for someone who wants to gain professional confidence and improve their leadership and service skills. The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.

• Lead a team of 5-10 park services employees following all federal and NH labor laws
• Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the park including office areas
• Maintain appropriate stock of Park Services supplies in all Park Services storage areas
• Facilitate the cleaning of restrooms hourly including toilets, urinals, sinks, floors and changing areas
• Ensure park grounds clear of all debris and assist in the emptying of trash barrels frequently and routinely
• Complete regular daily paperwork and checklists as assigned
• Assist other departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age OR 16+ with prior leadership experience
• Demonstrates ability leading a team and directing team members as necessary
• Provides exceptional customer service to guests
• Ability to quickly identify areas in need of service and promptly have them addressed
• Works efficiently in an individual and team setting
• Must be able to read and understand printed instructions for chemical use
• Ability to frequently lift, carry or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Recognizes and promptly communicates or remedies safety concerns
